WE’RE OPEN!

Dear Friends and Guests,

We trust that you are all well and have been able to stay safe during this very worrying and trying time. Thankfully we are all well, but have missed sharing Lyzzick with you and now that there is light at the end of the tunnel, we are working hard to be able to give you the warmest welcome back.

Unquestionably, we are following government and Public Health England guidelines and we are fully open from 4th July, which is galvanising and exciting.

It has been so sad to have had so many weeks of wonderful weather without you here to enjoy the spectacular views and the garden at its best. However, work has continually been done to keep everything ship shape and we have now made our final adjustments to re-open safely.

Hopefully, you will be sympathetic to the changes we have had to implement to ensure the safety of yourselves and our staff. We are confident that these are temporary measures…. but for how long is uncharted territory. Please be reassured we endeavour to give you the same exacting standards we have always strived for.

The following points illustrate immediate changes:

Our tables in the dining areas are arranged at a minimum of 1m apart. Timings for breakfast and dinner must be pre-booked and all bar drinks, coffee, tea etc will have to be served at your dining table or in our garden. Our talented team of chefs have produced an adapted menu which allows us to offer the same highest standards of food that Lyzzick is renowned for. Hand sanitising stations are placed in key areas and we continue to implement the highest standards of cleanliness whilst also adhering to stricter procedures required in the current Covid-19 situation.

The swimming pool area must remain closed but continues to be maintained and we await further guidance as to when we can re-open it. More garden furniture has arrived so (surely summer has not been and gone) relaxing with a “sundowner” and looking at the invincible fells is a treat not to be missed.

We are welcoming bookings made via our website and our reception is open daily should you wish to make a booking by phone or have any questions we can help you with.

Please see our covid-19 page for all information needed prior to your visit, please do not hesitate to call us of you require further details or clarification. There are many other things we will need to tell you about, all involving matters we are sure you will be well aware of and we will be in contact with further information prior to your arrival at the hotel.

We very much look forward to seeing you again soon.
