With safety our priority, we have conducted a rigorous risk assessment and have strict control measures in place. We will review our risk assessment regularly to ensure that we comply with any changes in Government guidelines, we have reduced the risk of Covid-19 to a minimum and that our procedures are working for yours and our staff safety at all time.

Before arrival at the hotel, you will receive a Covid-19 information letter with your confirmation of your booking, you will also have a welcome letter in your room. Please read the guidance carefully.
All Guests Please, for the safety of all guests, staff and families DO NOT arrive at the hotel but contact us to cancel your booking if you, or any member of your party, feels unwell, displays any symptoms of Covid-19 or have been advised by Government or a medical professional to self isolate; you or any of your party, have in the last 14 days, been in close contact with any person who has developed Covid-19 symptoms; you, or any member of your party have recently arrived into the UK from another country which has a high or increasing rate of Covid-19 or have been asked to quarantine.
Face masks must be worn at all times from entrance to the hotel, in corridors etc. Face masks may be removed once in the restaurant with your meal or the lounge area with drinks.
All staff have been trained in deep cleaning and disinfection methods to the highest standard of cleanliness and the importance of vigilance in hygiene and virus control.
Our waiting staff will not be wearing gloves but are abiding by our strict hand washing and sanitising protocol at all times. Masks are mandatory for all front of house staff. Gloves, masks and aprons are mandatory for our housekeeping team.
High contact areas are cleaned regularly by our dedicated housekeeping team.
Sanitise stations are placed in key areas around the hotel, please sanitise each time you enter the hotel and before you enter lounges, bar or restaurant.
All room keys are sanitised and placed in your room for arrival, please keep your key with you throughout your stay and return on departure only.
Bedrooms will not be serviced for stays of three nights or less, stays of longer will receive a linen change after three nights, this is to protect yourself and our housekeeping team, if you do not wish your room to be serviced at all please inform reception on or before your arrival.
To eliminate the risk of cross contamination our linen and towels are professionally laundered.
Strict food and drink service hygiene and safety measures are in place for all of our waiting and kitchen teams.
Due to a reduction of tables to allow for adequate social distancing, all dinner and breakfast times must be pre-booked for the duration of your stay to adhere to social distancing measures around the hotel and to ensure that we have a table for all guests. If you do not wish to have dinner, please inform us of this before your arrival.
Breakfast times are 8.00,8.15,9.15 or 9.30am. Dinner times are 5.30,5.45,6.00 or 8.00pm only.
Due to updated government mandates as of Thursday 24th September 2020, guests are required to return to their bedrooms by no later than 9.50pm to ensure that the hotel can be closed by 10pm promptly.
All furniture is arranged to adhere to social distancing requirements, we politely request that it remain in those positions.
Our swimming pool are will remain closed until such time as it is deemed safe to re-open.
Non resident guests to the hotel – Face masks must be worn at all times until you are in the restaurant at your table or after leaving the hotel exit at which point masks may be removed. Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your booking time. All service is at the table and we regret that you can no longer relax in the lounges, we have, however, added additional tables and seating in the garden should you wish to enjoy the views in better weather.
We respectfully ask that non resident guests do not arrive at the hotel any earlier than their booking time as we no longer have a pre dinner seating area, it will mean waiting outside whilst your table is prepared. Due to a reduction in our tables we have had to place a 2 hour time limit on all bookings, please contact us immediately if you are running late as this may affect how long you have at your table. All guests are required to have vacated the hotel premises by 9.50pm to enable the hotel to close at 10pm promptly.
If you are joining resident guests for dinner, please be aware that it will be straight to the table also and that you must have vacated the building by 9.50pm.
