About Lyzzick
Lyzzick Hall is one of the last remaining independent hotels in the Lake District. Converted from a beautiful Victorian building to a hotel in 1986, it has been lovingly renovated and restored.
This is a tranquil haven – in the heart of the Lake District, but, just sufficiently off the beaten track to feel like you’ve found a hidden gem.
We serve food and drink that makes us excited; treats for those who want to celebrate. Our rooms are lovingly cared for. Providing luxury but the ability to disconnect from the bustle of daily life.
We look forward to welcoming you to our home.
Customer Testimonials
EXCELLENT Based on 951 reviews Posted on AndyVerified Great experience - excellent food & hotel! Only had a few days in the Keswick area but stayed in this hotel. It was a great experience, amazing views (!) & excellent service and food for when we needed it. We also heard about some of the plans for refurbs taking place in the early new year - it sounded great and we will definitely will keep our eye out as we hope to be back soon when we're next up here!Posted on Hilary PVerified Amazing food and service We had such a lovely evening. Never been to Lyzzick before but been to Fellpack’s other restaurants and hotel, which are amazing, so we decided to try it! It did not disappoint, food was outstanding, service was so friendly, can’t wait to return.Posted on dianepbVerified Great Dining experience in a cosy hotel A lovely hotel set in the lakes with a super view from the dining room. Very homely and friendly feel. We had the 2 course option for dinner , Burrata and tomatoes , King prawns and chilli sauce. Salmon gravalax with gooseberries.. Hake in a pea sauce with potato and vegetables. melt in your mouth, beef cheeks, potato cakes and vegetables. The service was impeccable ( although we were asked at least three times if we wanted to upgrade to a desert) a thoroughly enjoyable evening.Posted on David FVerified Highly recommended Lake District hotel!. Excellent hotel in all respects. Great service, food, accommodation, quiet location with fantastic views. Can’t recommend highly enough. Will definitely return for a longer stay.Posted on Youngs40Verified Lovely Anniversary meal We were non residents but we’re staying in the Keswick area and wanted to have a special evening meal out for our 32nd Wedding Anniversary. Although knowing the Keswick area well we had not been before but based on the previous reviews we took a calculated chance. We have to say we were not disappointed. From arriving in the beautiful grounds we were greeted warmly and the 2 course meal we opted for was very tasty and beautifully presented - with great views from the dining room. The setting is so grand but does not at all appear stuffy. The weather also made for a lovely walk around the grounds after with amazing fell views Thank you everyone- we will definitely visit again on our next visit to the Lakes
